Export To OTT
Export assets or collection of assets to OTT.
Overview
The Export To OTT
integration allows a customer to export an asset or collection of assets to OTT. Current available export locations:
- Encompass
- SimpleStream
Asset Prerequisites.
- Select the metadata view
Export to OTT
. - Fill in the required fields and update the metadata view values.
Export To
Media ID
Ready For TX
- An asset CANNOT be marked as
Ready For TX
without first selecting anExport To
location and inputting aMedia ID
. You can select more than one export location.

Exporting an Asset.
- Select the ellipsis menu
- Click on
Edit Content
in the context menu. - From the additional Context Menu Select the
Export Asset to OTT
Custom Action option.

Transfer Job
You should then be able to visualise a transfer job in iconik for the exporting of the file.

If the export was successful, you should be able to verify this with the job status.

Collection Prerequisites.
Assets within a collection to be exported must all be marked as Ready For TX
. If any asset is not, it will be skipped.
Exporting a Collection.
- Select the ellipsis menu
- Click on
Edit Content
in the context menu. - From the additional Context Menu Select the
Export Collection to OTT
Custom Action option.

A dialog box will appear in which you can select where the collection should be exported to. You can select more than one, but it is required you select at least one. The location(s) you select here will take precedence over any export locations selected on an asset.

Transfer Job
You should then be able to visualise the transfer jobs in iconik for the exporting of the files for each asset within the collection.

If the export of an asset file was successful, you should be able to verify this with the job status.
